Ron Paul appeared as a guest on Bill Maher's HBO show Realtime this past Friday. He is absolutely right to point out that the time to end the "War on Drugs" is now. Even if you somehow believed in this fictitious war, spending hundreds of millions of dollars on this in the midst of what's going to be a protracted economic downturn is simply foolish.
