Enough beating up on McCain. Biden is a complete nitwit. I'm too tired from homework to post a full-on rant of why Biden is a clown, but I promise fair and balanced reporting (bashing?) when I have more energy. I focus on Republicans because I often feel betrayed by their party. I don't feel as if Biden has earned the title "retard" just yet, but we'll see.
I've been theorizing lately on why the Republicans are so disgusting to me compared to the Democrats. I think the reason we have big-government Republicans now is because the largely uneducated and poor South voted for them after the democrats pushed their civil-rights agenda. The poor-South was always a Democrat stronghold up until the 60s and 70s. Former-Democrat southerners never had any true belief in small-government -- they were simply using the Republican party as their platform for opposition to blacks. Republicans could just not win an election without appealing to divisive politics, as is the case today. Divisive politics of religion and race is my guess as to why we've fallen into this downward cycle where we only end up with more government. I think, with the poor, it's very difficult to sell limited government in the US -- particularly after 1913.
If my theory is correct, then Obama is right when he says the debate regarding big government was settled in the 50s and 60s. The sheer number of people with socialist inclinations probably started to take off in the 60s, particularly after the democrats engineered allowing for mass immigration. The demographic shift over the next 30-40 years will likely make limited government (or at least the political will for it) an impossibility within the US. I am, in fact, implying that the vast majority of the population in the future will be uneducated, unskilled, and very receptive to the ideas of big government.
Perhaps the Republicans know we're doomed and are just trying to out-big-government the Democrats. Either way, they still deserve the majority of my scorn. They could at least toss us limited government types a bone -- kind of like they do to the Wal-Mart-shopper-bible-thumper-values-voter social conservatives.
If Jesus were a Libertarian, and not a communist like Castro said, I doubt we'd have these problems today.

Pay more taxes because of governments inability to realize any form of financial responsibility ? Biden is a joke and sadly reflects so brilliantly our current government that we have by apathy allowed to decay into power deals and corruption. Patriotic, You clowns in Senate don’t even pay into Social Security, you’re “given” health care, a retirement that is ridiculous, the last I read it was ($15,000 per month for serving one term? And of course the wonderful pay raises you give yourselves, all for serving the public good? You want me to pay more taxes to be patriotic, I wore the uniform of the United States for ten years, worked my way thought college to obtain a good paying job, exactly what is it that you have done for Your country? Perhaps you could stop providing Social Security benefits to illegal aliens just because they have anchors babies, maybe you could provide the same level and benefits of care to a family of four working entry level jobs that you provide for the criminal in prison. How many studies have to be done that shows that a flat tax to everyone. Might even want to consider putting to work those on public assistance, even if its cleaning the sidewalk, the creation of more governmental jobs to enhance a culture of welfare is not to anyone’s benefits in the long term except the governments. Of course the real answer would be term limits for congress and senators, and the elimination of the retirement benefits, they should be on a leave of absents from the company they were working for (if any of them really ever had a job) it was suppose to be public service not power building and deal making. I personally think mr. Biden should take educational courses in Anatomy and Geology.
